Our Morrison vs. Miller arc wraps up with Frank Miller’s “The Dark Knight Strikes Again.” In this story, we return to the word created in “The Dark Knight Returns,” three years after the faked death of Bruce Wayne. This time, Bruce sets out to bring back all the other heroes and take on their tyrannical, oppressive government — a government so insidious that the news is given to you naked and superchix musicians in spandex lead a rebellion. If that sounds wacky, that’s because it is. I get the feeling that this comic will live on in infamy. For more information on past for future shows, visit www.AtomicPoweredSuperCast.com!
Our second ep in Morrison vs. Miller features “Batman: Incorporated” Volume one of volume one from 2010 (I think). We’re actually a whole week late just because I read the wrong trade. But now that we’re back, we’re gonna talk abotu Scorpiana’s sexily unsexy costume, all those batmans, and tentacle porn. Mostly though, we talk about Man-of-Bats and just how awesome that issue is. Our “Best of 2012” series continues as we visit DC’s Nu52 Batman in “Court of Owls” by Scott Snyder. A massive organization of Gotham’s elite has been secretly controlling the city for hundreds of years, only Bruce Wayne never knew about it because he wasn’t invited. And it’s okay, because he totally investigated it when he was like 11, so there’s no way it doesn’t exist. We talk about the awkward plot holes, the creepiness of the court, and rage Dick.
