It’s Darkseid’s turn in our Thanos vs. Darkseid competition as we read “JLA: Rock of Ages” by Grant Morrison. Our Spider-Man series finishes on a high note, with “Kraven’s Last Hunt.” Written by J.M. DeMatteis and drawn by Mike Zeck, it’s possibly one of the best comic books we’ve ever read, an in-continuity cross-title tale that tromps all over the hallowed literary ground of stand-alones and graphic novels. From the narrative structure, to the delicately balanced art, we audibly salivate over the goodness of this book. For more information on past or future shows, visit www.AtomicPoweredSuperCast.com!
