We take a break from comics this week to discuss the 2017 Wonder Woman movie! It took way too long, but Diana finally has a theatrical release, and much to everybody’s glee and Hollywood’s surprise, it’s doing fantastically well. We talk about all the things that make this movie work: from it’s surprisingly strong supporting cast of characters to Gal Gadot’s strong performance and its excellent balancing of Diana and Steve’s parallel storylines. We also compare the movie’s choices to some of the Wonder Woman books we’ve recently posted episodes about. Plus, David and Andy talk about action figures for a bit at the top of the show.
